Gardiner, Maine
Small-business IT support from a real person, not a help desk.
I'm Tony Monfiletto. I've spent over fifteen years running networks, phone systems, and Microsoft 365 environments — and now I do it for businesses, medical offices, and nonprofits here in central Maine. When you call, you get me.
Services
What I do
Most of my work falls into a few buckets. If your problem doesn't fit neatly into one, ask anyway. Odds are I've run into it before.
Networks & Wi-Fi
Ubiquiti UniFi design and installation: VLANs, routing, firewalls, and wireless coverage that actually reaches the back office.
Microsoft 365 & Cloud
Migrations, Teams, Exchange, and ongoing administration. I also handle the cleanup when a previous setup went sideways.
Security & Backups
Endpoint protection, firewall configuration, security assessments, and backups that get tested — not just scheduled.
Phones & VoIP
Fifteen years with Avaya and Tadiran systems, plus modern VoIP when it's time to retire the old PBX.
Managed IT Support
Monitoring, maintenance, and a helpdesk where the person answering is the same one who fixes it. On-site or remote.
IT Consulting & Planning
A clear technology roadmap and an honest second opinion. I'll tell you when the cheap option is the right one.
A note for medical offices, churches, and nonprofits: a good chunk of my work is with organizations that handle sensitive data on tight budgets. I'm used to HIPAA-conscious setups, donor databases, and making grant money stretch.
Why me
Why hire one person instead of a big MSP?
Because the person who answers your email is the person who fixes the problem. No ticket queues, no tier-one script readers, no waiting three days for someone to "escalate."
You deal with me, start to finish
I quote the work, I do the work, and I answer for it afterward. There's no one to hand you off to.
I'm close by
Based in Gardiner, on-site within about thirty miles — Augusta, Hallowell, Winthrop, Brunswick. Remote support covers the rest of Maine.
Pricing that fits the job
Hourly for one-off fixes, flat-rate for projects, monthly if you want me on call. You'll know the cost before I start.
A small client list, on purpose
I'd rather know each office, network, and the people in it than juggle a hundred accounts badly.
How it works
Working with me
No discovery workshops, no sales funnel. It goes like this:
We talk
A free phone call or visit. You tell me what's bugging you; I ask a lot of questions.
I take a look
I check out your current setup and figure out what's solid, what's fragile, and what's overdue.
You get a plan
A plain-English writeup of what I'd do and what it costs. No padding, no surprises later.
I do the work
And I stick around afterward. Most clients keep me on call long after the first project wraps up.
About
Hi, I'm Tony.
I started Monfiletto Tech because small organizations around here kept ending up with one of two things: a big MSP contract built for a company three times their size, or a "computer guy" who disappears after the check clears. There's a lot of room in between.
My background is hands-on. Fifteen-plus years of networking, Ubiquiti wireless, Microsoft 365 and Exchange, Hyper-V virtualization, VoIP phone systems, and the unglamorous things like DNS and DHCP that quietly keep an office running. I've racked the switches, run the migrations, and answered the 7 a.m. "the internet is down" calls myself — there was never anyone to delegate them to.
Engagements are flexible: hourly support, flat-rate projects, or a monthly agreement if you want me on call. The first conversation is always free, and I'll give you a straight answer even if that answer is "you don't need me for this."
